The Northwest Tower Addition is the second phase of St. Jude Medical Center’s Master Plan and addresses seismic upgrades and campus modernization. The 4-level tower adds 200,000 SF, and includes two 60-bed Medical/Surgical floors, Surgery with 14 OR’s, Pharmacy, SPD, Dietary, and shell space for Imaging. The project also incorporates evidence-based strategies for patient services to reduce stress, length of stay, and communication between caregivers and patients. These strategies not only provide a healing environment, but also support St. Joseph Health’s commitment to dignity, the human spirit, and creating healthy communities. The project team is a dynamic “Integrated Delivery” design-build format using BIM.
