The Chao Cancer Center not only serves a growing cancer population, but its lobby also serves as an information and waiting area for visitors to the UCI Campus. The facility was adding more advanced technology and along with the technological upgrades, they wanted to portray a more sophisticated image and a welcoming atmosphere. The remodel of the main lobby provided multiple options in waiting, and with the additions of soffits and cove lighting, the lobby and elevator corridors are brighter, friendlier spaces.  New Simulator/CT Scan/ Linear Accelerator rooms were completed with more “spa” like finishes to bring warmth and comfort to otherwise equipment intensive areas.
