On May 21, 2009, the St. Joseph Cancer Center was announced as winner of “Best Project – Private Sector Building over $15 million” at the DBIA Western Pacific Region Awards Ceremony.  St. Joseph Health Systems had never used a design-build delivery system for their larger projects. With the help of the design build team members, McCarthy Building Companies, Inc., and TAYLOR, they were able to face budget challenges and expedite project delivery, while maintaining the overall vision of providing patients and visitors with a comprehensive and convenient cancer center and MOB.
