Carrie Sheridan AIA LEED AP, Women’s Practice Leader for TAYLOR, will be speaking at the 2010 NAMA: Excellence in Women’s Healthcare Symposium. Her expertise includes strategic planning, master planning, medical space planning, and best practices for Women’s Health. Establishing a service line dedicated to women’s health has become imperative for many healthcare systems. Beyond the birthing experience, women’s health now encompasses a wide range of potential service lines. Creating a unique environment for the women’s service line is also an important aspect when considering establishing a women’s program. The focus of Carries presentation, “Designing for Women’s Health and Wellness,” will involve exploring best practices for facility planning that embrace adopting a patient centered approach, support emerging technologies, create an interior environment that relieves stress and empowers the patient, and implements the use of green building strategies. Join Carrie, March 31st from 1:00-2:00PM at the Sheraton Suites, 701 A Street in San Diego, California.
